Cancer Care
After June 30, outpatient medical oncology services will no longer be provided at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital’s Cancer Care Center. Radiation oncology services will continue to be offered and are not affected by this change.
Patients currently receiving medical oncology treatment are being provided with support to transition their care. Patients with questions are invited to call the information line at (574) 549-6990.
Anyone experiencing a medical emergency – cancer-related or otherwise – should go to the nearest ER and can come to the LKH ER 24/7. The experienced emergency department team is trained to provide emergency care and, if needed, can arrange for transfer to a higher level of care.
Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital delivers cancer care services from early screening and preventive education to diagnosis, treatment and recovery. We combine technology, medical knowledge and a range of support services with compassion and care.
Cancer is not generic. Each patient, each diagnosis and each treatment is unique. The team at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital brings the skills and experience necessary to create specific treatment plans for each patient.
